Record sleeves by Andrzej Klimowski, found at Discogs. Klimowski is head of Illustration at the Royal College of Art, and is probably best known for his posters, book covers and graphic novels.
The Thrashing Doves were a rock band from London who's career was all but ended in 1987 when Margaret Thatcher, shown a selection of music videos as a guest on children's TV program Saturday Superstore(!), gave them her highest rating. In the same program, Thatcher was repeatedly asked by a girl in the audience where she would be if nuclear war broke out. (It might just be false memory syndrome, but I seem to have a vague recollection of this.)
