There's very little online information on René Ferracci (1927-1982), which surprised me considering the familiarity of these designs. His posters for the films of Luis Buñuel are by far his most memorable, but don't seem to be particularly representative of his work. The artwork on the poster for Playtime is credited to Baudin, whoever that may be, with design by Ferracci.
